Made Up created an experiential outdoor environment for The Botanist gin in London’s celebrated Rosewood Hotel courtyard. The garden was designed and produced by Made Up with no other agency involvement.
A Scottish gin distilled on the whisky-making Isle of Islay, The Botanist features 22 local botanicals in addition to the nine traditionally used when creating gin.
The installation celebrated this fact, with botanicals including elderflower and camomile placed around the environment. Exotic garden vines were a constant, and used to create a canopy effect around the garden’s pre-installed pagoda.
Key set pieces included terrariums (glass globes that encourage plant growth) with candles, and on-trend ‘Kokedama’ style hanging plants.
The pieces were expertly applied to the courtyard’s notoriously delicate pagoda by our expert artisans.
