Made Up collaborated with Perrier Jouët to create Christmas decorations for the lobby at London’s venerable The Langham hotel, the international gold standard for luxury hospitality.
The Champagne’s Blanc des Blancs cuvée has inspired the 2017 Christmas decorations in The Langham’s lobby areas. You can see more images in our Brand Case Studies section.
Two lustrous, traditional trees flanked the entrance to the hotel’s historic Palm Court restaurant, famed as the birthplace of the English ‘afternoon tea’ tradition. Decorations selected by our team include artisan-blown glass giant bubbles – some containing bottles of Perrier Jouët Blanc des Blancs – and ultra-luxurious gift displays.
We placed a specially commissioned art installation in the middle of The Palm Court itself. ‘Éclat de Bulles’ – ‘Burst of Bubbles’ – is a contemporary Christmas tree-style sculpture. “Inspiration for this design came from a marriage of the Langham’s classic elegance, and Perrier Jouët brand philosophy; ‘to enchant with crafted beauty’,” explains project manager Rosanna Payne, “With these elements in mind, we wanted to capture an atmosphere of celebration that was luxurious enough to sit in the iconic Palm Court, whilst also inspiring a sense of beauty and wonder, leaving a lasting impression on hotel guests.”
Further adornments included white anemones, the official flower of Perrier Jouët, both within the design of ‘Éclat de Bulles’ and fresh within the Christmas trees’ decorations.
Have a magnificent holidays, everybody.
