Made Up conceived, curated and constructed the ‘5 Live-a-Side’ pitch for Sport Relief.

The project’s challenges included creating an arena that not only functioned as a recreational soccer pitch and grandstand, but needed to do so without any hitches for 24 hours straight, under the glare of TV cameras.

The area was also heavily branded, with all artwork and construction by our in-house fabrications studio.

A mixed team led by player-turned-pundit Robbie Savage took on squads from the FA Peoples’ Cup for twelve hours running. Consecutively, former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given faced a penalty shoot-out also for twelve hours non-stop.

Needless to say, Made Up’s creative professionals relish unique challenges, especially for a good cause.
