Made Up were briefed to provide online retailer The Outnet with an activation for London Fashion Week during September 2016.
Our idea was to let the guests’ own colours light up the room. We clad the walls and fitted a high gloss floor. Our tech team custom-wrote a code that sampled the colour of the guests’ clothes, and gave them each their ‘own’ distinct pattern on an LED screen.
These displays were synchronised with the venue’s own lighting displays. Each guest’s moment was captured as an animated ‘gif’ and sent to their own phone. Naturally they were keen to share these on their social media platforms – achieving over 500,000 ‘earned’ page impressions.
