The BBC’s Asian Network radio station hosts a live event programme that encompasses comedy, cutting-edge gigs… and this sold-out 5000 capacity event at Birmingham Arena in March 2018.
Made Up’s brief followed its regular pattern for major, televised BBC live events. Our team built and installed stage sets, sage flooring, plus branding and dressing across the venue including: media zones, green rooms and ViP areas, bespoke backdrops for social media photographers, and backstage as a whole.
Our A/V team also handled the on screen graphics and branded content for the live video broadcast.
The music extravaganza features many of the biggest international names in Asian music, including America’s Jay Sean and the Punjab’s Guru Randhawa, performing alongside home-grown talent including Lotto Boyz and JayKae.
This was Made Up’s third consecutive year working the show, which had previously taken place at Eventim (née Hammersmith) Apollo.
